Embeddable myRealPage Listings and IDX at work on Jacob Krause’s and Jacky Levi’s WordPress website

Since the release of our Embeddable Listings product in 2009, it has been used by many REALTORS® in their 3rd party websites, such as WordPress, custom, or even websites from other vendors. Combined with the portable Listing Showcases, the powerful VOW, predefined searches and a mobile search, this product offers a compelling value.

Today, we would like feature an example of an effective use of our embeddable listings and showcases: a WordPress-based website run by Jacob Krause and Jacky Levi: EastVanHouses.com

New Multi-Listing Roll showcase: great animations and transitions for your listings without Flash

Hot on the heels of the Image Banners that use no Flash, myRealPage is pleased to announce a new Multi-Listing Roll Showcase: a banner like showcase that creates great effects and animations for your listings. And because it’s not using Flash, this showcase will display great on iPhone or iPad, and even run lighter on regular pages.

Multi-Listing Roll Showcase supports:

  • Rotation (animated fading transition among photos)
  • Sliding (left, right, up and down, including an optional bounce effect to simulate gravity)
  • Simple random photo selection

And, as is the case with all other myRealPage Listing Showcases, you can pick whatever source you like for the photos: your own listings, your office listings, one of your predefined searches, or even hand-picked listings by MLS® numbers. You can also specify how many photos per listing to use in the showcase. (Oh, and we’ll even show the necessary symbols and listing brokers as necessary by your local real estate board).

Oh, and yes, you can use this showcase if you have Listings-Only subscription with myRealPage, so it can run in your own website outside of myRealPage.

Give it a try and let us know what you think by leaving a comment here or dropping us a line to support-at-myrealpage.com

MyRealPage adds Multi-Listing Google Map showcase

We have added another Listing Showcase, called “Multi-Listing Google Map”. The idea is to allow you to showcase a bunch of listings on Google map. This map can be placed anywhere on your website alongside any other web content (even if your website is on WordPress or with other providers) . As with other listing showcases, you can use:

  • Your Listings
  • Your Office Listings
  • Your Predefined Searches, or
  • a hand-picked selection of listings by MLS® numbers

What’s more is that if you build your Google Map showcase on a predefined search that has a drawn area on the map, that area will be shown on the map showcase as well:

If you missed it, we have launched myRealPage Listing Showcase feature a little while ago with such showcases as:

  • Featured Listing
  • Multi-Listing Slideshow, and
  • Multi-Listing Band

Don’t forget that you can use Listing Showcases in both myRealPage websites and 3rd party websites. The showcases can be embedded in a variety of places, including sidebars and content areas of the pages. Here is an example of a “narrow” map:

This feature is available for free for both Website+Listing and Listings Only customers of myRealPage. We hope you enjoy this new addition to our array of listing tools.

Introducing “Listing Showcase” from myRealPage

Say “hello” to the new addition to myRealPage Listings offering: Listing Showcase. Listing Showcase was created with one simple goal: to make your listings look cool on the web. Even if your website is not with us.

Listing Showcase allows you to create a variety of showcase-like listing presentations. We are including 3 showcase types in this first release:

1. Featured Listing

featured

2. Multi-Listing Band

band

3. Multi-Listing Slidewhow

Listing Showcases can be used by both myRealPage website users and “Listings-only” customers. If your website is with us, find the new “Listing Showcase” weblet  which will allow you to both select an existing showcase, as well as create, edit or preview one. If you are a “Listings-only” customer, create a Listing Showcase through the Listing Options and use the “embed code” to insert the showcase into your current website.

It is easy to set up a showcase. You simply need to follow a few simple steps through the wizard:

  • Pick which showcase you would like to create
  • Select the listings you would like to showcase
    a) Individual listings
    b) Listing batches, such as “My Listings”, “Office Listings”
    c) Pre-defined searches
  • Fine-tune the settings, including colors, borders, etc.
  • A: If you are a myRealPage website customer, use “Listing Showcase” weblet to add the showcase to a webpage
  • B: If you are a “Listings only” customer, use the '”embed code” to insert the showcase into your non-myRealPage website

We plan to add more Listing Showcase types in the near future. Do you have ideas or suggestions? Drop us a line at support-<at>-myrealpage.com.

This feature is included in the standard Listings subscription. (Please note that in order to use predefined searches, your Real Estate board needs to allow Reciprocity program).
