For years now, myRealPage has been offering a world-class Listings and IDX solution for real estate professionals. One of the very important features of our solution is that we pass on the entire wealth of listing information which we receive from your local Real Estate Board, to your website visitors. We don’t remove fields or change their names in order to make them “fit” into our systems.
Today, we are taking it a step further. We are taking this wealth of raw listing information from our data feeds and opening it up for a “Deep Search” which you can use to create your Predefined Searches. In some areas, this wealth of information is enormous. For example, in one locality, we have around 300 possible fields in one listing type. Now, you can create a Predefined Search that uses a combination of these fields to formulate a very custom and very targeted list of properties for your website visitors.
Why is this feature important? Well, have you ever wondered if you could filter out only Lofts for a Predefined Search, or only Co-ops, or only New Developments, or only listings in a particular high-rise complex? Are you creating a new niche market for your personal or company brand? Now you can put together Predefined Searches with advanced criteria of your choosing to meet these needs. Chances are, if you can think it, you can create it using the new advanced Deep Search. And best of all, you can do it and manage it yourself!
“Advanced Deep Search” form is now available in your Predefined Search wizard dialog along with the other simpler forms. We are launching “Deep Search” as a beta product to see and understand how our customers will put it to use and we will be improving it along the way.
Please note, that this feature is only available in regions where the local Real Estate Board allows public searches (via programs like Reciprocity) and/or Virtual Office Websites (VOW). If you are unsure whether your region qualifies, contact us and we’ll check for you.
This feature will be available free of charge while in beta for both our regular website and listings-only customers.

MyRealPage plug-and-play listings for WordPress, Blogger, Point2Agent, Joomla, Drupal, or any other website. Pop it in like a YouTube video: simple as that!
MyRealPage has taken its entire Listings and IDX product and condensed it into a series of embeddable code snippets, much like YouTube videos. And much like YouTube videos, you can now simply embed any section of your Listings with MyRealPage into any page on your website hosted on WordPress, Point2Agent, Blogger, Joomla, Drupal, or any other: Read the full story on MyRealPage Tech Blog.
In the most recent round of updates, MyRealPage has published completely overhauled list view pages of its Listings. We have created four completely new templates, each targetting a particular preference for viewing listings:
EXPANDED: larger photo, more visible information, more visible item actions, larger area for each listing item
LIST: smaller photo, compact information, small footprint per listing item, complete but compact item actions
MAP: location oriented display showing listings on the map with one-line display per listing; complete but compact item actions
GALLERY: photo oriented display, compact footprint to display more photos in a viewable space; complete but compact item actions
Now, the choice of how to view the listings is in your visitors' hands as they can switch between the four views via prominent tabs. You are also free to pick your favourite "default" view for your own listings, your office listings, and for your search results. For example, you may choose to showcase your listings which you have decorated with high-resolution photos via a "gallery" view; or "map" view if you want to highlight your specialty neighborhoods. We have also "thematized" the new templates so that they look great in dark themes.
We have also "tightened up" our templates to make sure that our listing pages display both consistently and predictably. In addition, if you are css-savvy, it is now very easy to add your own css (Cascading Style Sheets) to the listing pages via "Listing Options" in the Private Office: this may be particularly useful if you subscribe to our Listings-only product.
We hope you and your visitors will enjoy these new updates brought to you by MyRealPage.
UPDATE: Blackberry version of this application has entered development. Read details here.
MyRealPage has launched a very exciting new feature: geo-location aware property searches on iPhone and Android-based phones. Last week, iPhone OS 3.0 has been released and iPhone 3GS has shipped. Just before that, Android "Cupcake" version has been released and HTC Magic launched. Hot on the heels of these events, MyRealPage releases mobile search designed for iPhone and Android based phones (such as HTC Dream and Magic). This is a very new and exciting application space for MyRealPage! We decided to deliver a fully featured set of HTML5 mobile tools that would include both useful search tools for your clients as well as powerful lead generation opportunities.
The new mobile application is now in beta and available for public use. While in beta, the mobile search will be available FOR FREE to all current subscribers who have a Listings subscription (including Listings-only subscribers). Even though an extraordinary amount of attention has been paid to details in this application, we expect that it will evolve and change through the beta period.
Here is a quick list of what you can do in this application:
Automatically locate yourself via GPS and see all available listings for sale in up to 1km radius around you
Have the application "follow" you by updating your position and nearby listings as you walk or drive
Drag the map to pan around and see the nearby listings automatically searched for you
Manually override your current location by entering the address of your choice
Login into your Virtual Office Website (VOW) account to see and do more
See full details of each individual listing, including all photos
Email listings to family and friends
Inquire about the listing with the agent/team/broker
"Star" the listing for later review through the Virtual Office Website (VOW) account
Sign up for a Virtual Office Website (VOW) account
Make a phone call and/or send a SMS message directly from the contact forms
We have also included a special request form for your web visitors to have the mobile link sent to their phones. The link to this form is currently located at the bottom of your property search forms. (And yes, it is capable of generating and auto-creating leads for you just like all other listing forms from MyRealPage).
We hope you and your clients will enjoy and have fun using this application!
MyRealPage has released another update to the listings product which included more polish and improvements to the search forms. There was a lot of cleanup work done "under the hood", but primarily the following changes will be immediately visible to the website users:
Cleaner, crisper look and better usability for the MyRealPage's oldest search form: what used to be called a "Map Search" form, prior to the arrival of our Google Map Search. This form is now called "Area Search"; it now sports more streamlined single page behavior, better area navigation and bigger, more visible controls: all to let your visitors get to the listings faster.
Updated, more intuitive search form selector which we believe better reflects its use. The search form selector can be found just above the search forms: it allows a user to switch between various available search forms.
Improved listing loading in the Private Office. When the listing tab is clicked now, the listing category tree shows up immediately, allowing you access to the Listing options and the "New Listing" button right away. The listings will then load progressively from Active and Sold, to the rest. This will be most welcome by larger teams, brokers and agents with large listing inventories.
Better support for Lease and Rental properties. This includes correct "Leased/Rented" status, as well as the automatic banner. Lease and Rental properties will also show as "FOR LEASE" and "FOR RENT" instead of "ACTIVE".
Better support for IE8. We have found and resolved a number of issues that affected the new version of the Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8.
San Diego search forms have been updated to enable the search for sold properties, including a period range to limit the search (this feature was implemented to accomodate the local Real Estate Board's policy regarding the sold listings and the local market expectations).
(above is the screenshot of how the "Area Search" looks in Edmonton. Of course, each region we support gets its own regional form).
As we ramp up for more updates and improvements, we hope you will find the most recent ones useful.
MyRealPage has published another update to its Listings product which introduces more useful options for Pre-defined Searches and Pre-defined Forms.
As of today, MyRealPage customers can add a short descriptive text to their Pre-defined searches and forms. This makes it possible to better convey the purpose of the search or form; or even provide an easy introduction into how to use the listings pages on their website.
MyRealPage customers have long been able to define an unlimited number of searches based on criteria available through a number of search forms. These searches can be named, e.g. "Downtown condos", and connected as a URL to anywhere on the website. Similarly, MyRealPage customers can also define search forms by pre-selecting criteria which may better reflect the customer's specialty; they can even modify which search form and which pre-selected options to show up by default in Public Searches and/or Virtual Office Website (VOW).
Today's update further enriches Pre-defined Search and Form features. We hope you will put it to good use.
We have added a new feature to the Google Map Search in our listings product.
Now, in addition to seeing Listings that appear 48 hours in advance of MLS.ca, with 333% More Listing Information, your prospects can now see listings on an Interactive Google Map.
After performing a search, the prospect is given an option to "View Listings on Map". Listings will be displayed as markers on the map. When a marker is selected a popup balloon, with a Photo and Basic Listing Information is displayed. Full Listings details are available by selecting “Listing Details”.
Contact Sales@myRealPage.com for more information about our Real Estate listings solution.
myRealPage.com would like to introduce the latest item into our growing list of features. Now clients can draw their own Custom Search Areas right on top of the Google Map and find only properties in areas they’d like to live in.
You can now register custom domain names which can be pointed to different parts of your website.
For example: "www.gowithjaneqagent.com" can be pointed to go to "www.janeqagent.com/signup.html" or "www.janeqagent.com/special.html". This new feature provides additional flexibility and promotes search engine ranking based on the words included in your domain name. You can find this feature under "Website" section in your Private Office.
Control your page flow after user login
You can now specify in your login weblet what page your website user will be shown upon successful login. For example, the user can be shown a Virtual Office Website page (if such product is available in your region). This configuration option is available in the "Login Weblet" configuration screen.
Pre-defined searches
You, as an agent, may specialize in certain kinds of properties and you may want to advertise these via a link or simply by allowing your users to quickly jump to the listings which are your specialty, for example "High End Condos", "Downtown Lofts", etc. You can now capture these specialized listings into one or more "Pre-Defined Searches".
You can construct the search using any of our currently available search forms and save it under a name of your choice. Each such search will also have an associated URL which can be attached to a custom button, link or an image on your website. Now you can have listings automatically displaying anywhere you want on your website based on a building address, price range, area or property type.
