We are pleased to announce a new addition to the many ways you can add photos to your website, the Photo Gallery weblet. Not only does this weblet work on your standard website, it also works perfectly on your mobile myRealPage site as well!
This weblet is a great tool to showcase photos on your site whether it be for a new development, an event you were a part of or photos for adding a new twist on Testimonials.
This weblet contains options that will allow you to add a title to the gallery, add a description and add captions to each photo. Upload images directly from your computer or from your web drive and then drag and drop them in the order you want.
As always, we would love to hear what you think; send us your thoughts to feedback@myrealpage.com
We hope you will enjoy using this great new weblet.
Say hello to three new weblets added to a large and growing selection of myRealPage website components. The three new arrivals are:
Twitter Profile weblet : a customizable widget that shows your tweets
Facebook Like Box : a customizable widget that shows activity on your Facebook Page
Google Translate : a widget that displays a “translate” drop-down menu and uses Google Translate service to translate your website pages into a variety of languages
It was possible to add these weblets to your myRealPage websites in the past, but you had to copy-and-paste a bunch of codes and if you wanted to change anything you had to start from scratch. We thought we could do better…. The new weblets will now let you integrate these tools into your websites very easily; and you can always come back later and change their settings without any copy-and-pasting.
You can find the new weblets in the “General” section or simply by typing their names into the search box.
Let us know what you think about these new weblets: we hope you will put them to good use. Email us your thoughts and feedback to feedback@myrealpage.com
We are very thrilled to publish a set of new weblets today which will make it super easy for you to create refined, consistent, feature and information rich pages for buildings and neighborhoods. Building and Neighborhood weblets come with rich toolsets and were designed to give you maximum flexibility and latitude for customization. In a nutshell, these weblet offer:

Precise tools to help you display current listings in your buildings and neighborhoods

We are very pleased to release a new addition to an extensive array of our website weblets (those little page components that act like building blocks for your website). This time, it’s “Location Search” weblet, designed for a super easy listing search based on a typed-in location.
This weblet is a great tool to engage your website visitors and get them to start experimenting and using your listing tools. It lets your visitors instantly see the listings they are looking for. All they need to do is simply type in the desired location, such as a city, neighborhood, postal/zip code or an MLS® number.
This weblet contains additional options. These will allow you to fine-tune the way this weblet looks and behaves. For example, you can configure this weblet to automatically search a particular property type, and you can add “Property Types” as an additional control to this form.

As you may know, we launched a new, completely revamped web-based Private Office a little while ago. Today, we are very pleased to announce a complete re-work on the way our weblet editing tools look, feel, and function.
“Weblets” are little building blocks that comprise the contents of our web pages. They account for most of myRealPage website platform’s flexibility and power. They allow you to add complex, interactive features to your pages with just a few clicks. myRealPage offers several dozens of various weblets, such as “Text Editor”, “Embedded Video”, “Image Banner”, “Interactive Map”, “Local Places”, “Listings”, “Listing Showcases”, as well as a series of weblets designed specifically for mobile websites.
We decided to go through every single one of our weblets’ editing screens and re-organize, re-engineer and re-design the way they look and behave, including the actual Weblet Picker itself. We made each configuration screen easier to understand and work with and we “annotated” all the options with little question marks to let you know right on the spot what each of the options does. Today’s update is the result of this laborious but rewarding process. Take a look at the screenshots below and explore your new Private Office yourself: http://private-office.myrealpage.com
Here is how you would add new content to your pages:

We hope you will enjoy using these new features as much as we enjoyed making them! Let us know what you think: feedback@myrealpage.com : we are always interested in what you have to say.
The Redekops website has just undergone a total redesign and has relaunched on the myRealPage platform. The Redekops are Dale Redekop and Mitch Redekop, a father and son REALTOR® team who are one of the Fraser Valley's top producing real estate sales teams.
The new design is fresh and slick and incorporates many myRealPage features, including a blog, property search by Google Maps, MLS® number, area, or address.
Take a moment to check out their new design at theredekops.com and let us know what you think:
Please say “Hello” to a new addition to myRealPage weblet family: the “Maps”. This weblet was designed to let you put popular map widgets anywhere on myRealPage website with ease and precision. You can choose between Google Map, Google Street View, WalkScore, Bing’s Bird’s Eye View; or combine them all on the same page! This is a great weblet for neighborhood and niche pages. The weblet’s configuration was designed to be intuitive and easy to use: no more copy-and-pasting embed codes, etc. Take it for a spin and let us know what you think:
And this is how you can easily drop it on your webpage:
We have published a few new features and updates that we wanted you to know about. We have posted full releases on our tech blog. Here are quick links for you:
“Location, location, location” is the mantra of the Real Estate business and we all know it. That’s why, we hope you will like myRealPage’s new “Local Places Map” weblet (a little building block for your web pages). This weblet lets you show schools, shopping centers, amenities, places of worship, hospitals, clinics, etc. on a Google Map centered around a location of your choice. Currently, this weblet is available to our Canadian customers only but we are working to bring this functionality to our users in the US as well. The weblet is being released as a beta version and, while in beta, is available free of charge.
This is a great weblet to help build those niche market or neighborhood pages and fill your website with relevant local information and tools.
You can easily find the weblet in our Weblet registry and the weblet settings screen allows you to fine-tune the look and behavior of the weblet in a very granular manner. You can choose the zoom level and the type of the map to show, as well as what categories of places to show by default. If you are an advanced user or working with a designer or developer, you will be able to even “inject” your own javascript and CSS into the weblet. You can even replace all the default icons with your own, if you are so inclined.
Take it for a spin and let us know what you think! We would love to hear from you: leave us a comment or drop us a line to support-at-myrealpage.com
We are very pleased today to announce the addition of another weblet to a long and growing list of myRealPage weblets, little building blocks that make up our websites. This time it’s the “Image Banner”. It’s a very simple and yet powerful weblet. It allows you to specify a series of images out of which it will build a slideshow by applying various effects. As the name suggests, it’s a perfect candidate for your website’s banner.
BUT THE COOLEST PART is that the Image Banner weblet IS NOT BASED ON FLASH.
If you wonder why that matters, you may have missed a currently raging debate on the internet (don’t feel bad, it’s really of most interest to the geekiest of us). Flash has not managed to make its way into Apple’s iPhone and iPad and many believe that Flash is becoming a less viable option for a website if you want it to appear faithfully on a wide range of devices, from a laptop to a smart-phone. With the Apple iPad’s launch in the US and its imminent launch in Canada, we thought that you should have a viable alternative to your Flash banners which we have been providing as part of many of our standard themes for years now.
The new Image Banner weblet comes with a few handy effects, such as:
Rotation : allows you to rotate through a series of images via a fade effect
Slide : allows you to rotate through a series of images via a sliding effect. You can also specify the direction and a little “bounce” effect at the end of the slide, to simulate a little gravity
Random image : allows you to simply have the page display a random image from a set of images without any effects.
In addition, you can fine-tune your transition and interval speeds to make the banner behave just the way you want.
If you would like to see some of these effects in action, check out the links below (you may need to give the page a few seconds for the effect to start):
