We all know that one size doesn’t fit all. As web trends, fashions, and best practices evolve, so does your website. Your page sizes change, sidebars are removed, listing areas become wider, you want more screen real estate (no pun intended) dedicated to showcasing your listing photos… Enter “elastic” listing templates from myRealPage. We have gone back to our template design and reshaped it so that it is able to accommodate a much larger number of width formats. So now, whether you are removing a sidebar from your listings and want them to display in a wider format with large, expansive photo features, or if you are embedding our listing IDX in a 3rd party website, such as WordPress, you can set the width to your liking and enjoy the much tighter, more integrated and seamless look.

The widths can be easily set through the Listing Options in the Private Office and can be set separately for your listings, office listings and your search pages:

And don’t forget that our listing pages can be further styled via CSS (cascading style sheets): just talk to your graphic designer or web developer. Don’t have one? Ask us and we’ll connect you!

Do you have ideas for new features or feedback? We would like to hear from you! Send us a line to support-at-myrealpage.com.

I believe, if I am not mistaken, that you can manually enter other widths (eg. 710) to have it fit perfectly.

Rod, you are absolutely right. We left that in as a little easter egg :)'

Nice little egg... sets up quite nicely.

PS: Any idea when the Chilliwack search will be available? Sooner then later?
Bill Skrypnyk on Jan 29, 2010 4:59 PM
Thanks, Rod.

Chilliwack has actually been set up in our systems for some time now. You should be able to configure a predefined search form in your Private Office that targets Chilliwack. Send me an email to bill-at-myrealpage.com if you need assistance with this.
